My first blog award!

Cait, a sweet bloggin' chic over at theblessedlife has given me my very first blog award! Thank you, thank you! I'm honored, people actually read my blog and they like it! :o)

1. List 6 things you are a master in.
2. Pass it on to 6 bloggers you think are masters in friendship, and make blogging so awesome.

Six Things I'm a Master In:

1. Painting walls. I've had lots of practice, I've painted 3 rooms in our house all by myself. And I've gotten to the point that I don't use painter's tape to get those crisp edges. Yeah, I know how to rock a roller brush. ;o)

2. training our dog - Hazelnut Mocha. She's agility trained, and usually well mannered. I worked at a vet for almost 2 years and swore I would not be the owner of an unruly dog. It helps that she's so eager to please too. :o)

3. wrapping presents. I LOVE to wrap presents. I'm talking ribbons and bows and ornaments/trinkets, not just the wrapping paper. A friend and I have seriously considered having a present wrapping business at Christmas time.

4. Finding good deals. I refuse to pay full price for anything but food.

5. Potatoes. They are my specialty. Mashed, baked, twice baked, roasted, french fries, whatever...I am the potato master.

6. Worrying. Sad, I know. Its inherited I think. ;o) I think I just have a vivid imagination, if only I could harness that power for good. :oD

Six Bloggers I'm Awarding:

Jennifer at Lovely Ramblings
Allison at Nurse Missionary
Patti at Patti's Corner
Craftymom at Noel's Creations & Invitations
Amanda at Expecting a Miracle

These are all women that are my friends in the "real" world. And I think they're fabulous. You should check out their blogs!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. The weather is BEAUTIFUL here, and I love it!

  1. This blogging friendship is meant to be. :) I could definitely place any of those on my own list, except for the potato one. Cooking is a work in progress for me. :) I love that you ditched the painter's tape...me too. It's just so much easier to cut the lines with a brush! Glad you enjoyed your award! Have a great weekend!
