Unexpected

Sunday we were driving around downtown Dallas because we had gotten to the Majestic an hour early for the show. We found these crazy huge statues of cattle and cowboys on horses.

There was a gorgeous cemetery right next to it (you can see it in the background of this photo)

that I really wanted to explore and photograph, but I was getting weird looks from my group and it was rather muddy. I had no idea these things were in downtown, but apparently they've been around for a while. It was exciting to discover something "new" in a city you've known your whole life.
