To Tweet or not to Tweet...

I feel like I'm one of a dying number of people who do not have a twitter account. I just don't see the point in signing up for an account that is essentially a status update on Facebook and nothing more. But I am feeling the peer pressure and I am noticing some blogs/artists that I want to keep up with are on Twitter and use it a lot. I'd hate to miss out on some vital info. ;o) So I'm asking you...do you tweet? Do you love twitter or hate it and why?

  1. I tweet! But moderately - and I don't get it on my phone! Too much for me, but it is fun to stay in touch!
    Add me if you tweet!!

  2. I don't tweet. I have a hard enough time trying to NOT be addicted to FB and blogs. I don't think I have time. I think it would be hard for me to separate my work from my life, my cyber habit from my reality...I guess I'm just not up for the challenge.

  3. I must admitt....I tweet...and I tweet quite often. But I don't really follow the people that I went on there to follow, like the singers, and movies, tv shows, and sporting teams. It it the same status update that I put on facebook and myspace. I don't really need a twitter account, because it is a bit pointless. I'm in the middle. It's okay, but not great. You're not missing anything. :)

  4. Oh I understand this completely! I have been tempted by how so many bloggers tweet. And I like the idea of it to update people about new posts, especially those that read my blog but aren't bloggers themselves. So I made a facebook page for my blog. I just decided I don't need one more thing to keep up with and allow myself to go crazy over. Since I'm already on Facebook, it works for me. :) Who knows if I will stay away from tweeting forever, though. I'm usually a sucker for those kind of things.

Thanks so much for stopping my blog! I'll definitely be back to read more!

  5. I have an account. I signed up a LOOONG time ago...but I never get on it. It was pointless to me. All my friends are on Facebook and if I needed to see what they were doing or if they wanted to see what I was doing...then they/I could just get on facebook!

  6. I am a pretty new reader of your blog, but love it, and think we've got some things in common...isn't the blogging world neat like that? I left you a little gift on my blog tonight. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

  7. I don't tweet, but I don't have facebook or myspace either. The whole concept of it is bewildering to me.
