Assignment: The little things

I'm rather uninspired today, but here's what I got for this weeks assignment. We are supposed to take pictures of things that are smaller than a dollar bill. Here ya go.

This is a photo of my aggie ring on the desk in our study. Natural light from the window, taken on the p&s.

This shot was taken in the dining room using natural light from the window and the flash on my nikon. The light was too harsh and I didn't really love the shot so I processed it with CoffeeShop Photography's Golden Vintage action and cropped it pretty tight.
